About Xi'an Famous Foods 西安名吃 | Court Square LIC

Xi’an Famous Foods began as a 200 square foot basement stall in the Golden Shopping Mall in Flushing, N.Y. The original location, established in late 2005, was the first restaurant to bring the little-known cuisine of Xi’an to the United States. Since then, it’s become a beloved local fast-casual chain, with locations spread across New York City, as well as locations in Boston, Virginia, etc. As a family-owned business, Xi’an Famous Foods looks to reintroduce the world to the unique western Chinese cuisine of the founder’s hometown through some classic dishes: liang pi “cold-skin noodles" stewed pork burgers, wide hand-pulled “biang biang” noodles, and more, all in their most authentic forms based on family recipes.

Love Xi’an Famous Foods. This location is my go to lunch spot on a weekday! My favorite is the A2 , stir fry Liang Pi. I love mine extra spicy. The food is always fresh and delicious! Sitting area is clean and they have special drinks offering in the fridge. Highly recommended.

This has long been the treat. For a while almost weekly, then eventually monthly. I would often remark to others how great the place was that they listed prices including taxes. Eventually that went by the wayside and I missed it, but the food was still grand. What was saddening on my recent visit wasn't the price increase month-to-month (understandable in the current era), but to do so then present it on the price screen as if it were a discount. A far cry from the era of taxes included and what you see is what you pay. Just felt disingenuous. At least the food is still good.

This one of my favourite places in NYC that is serving the best noodles I ever had. It’s honestly must try for full of flavour and spicy lovers. Spicy cucumber salad is a must try along with any other noodles or dumplings.

MOUTH WATERING NOODLES 🥇🥇 My favorite is the N2 (Spicy beef noodles). I requested mild spice, sometimes medium if I’m feeling adventurous. Xi’an Famous sets the standard for Chinese fast food. Good quality, flavor, portion, & value. I have eaten at several of their locations including Flushing. I enjoyed my meal here most for reasons I shall NOT disclose. 😉 Jason Wang is a pioneer and an inspiration to young entrepreneurs. Keep up the Great 👍 work!

I’m visiting NYC on a work trip from California, and I didn’t realize how much I was craving something that felt a little like home until I ate here 🥹 I had the N2 Spicy & Tingly Beef Muscle Hand-Ripped Noodles, F4 Spicy & Sour Lamb Dumplings, and the L2 cucumber salad, and honestly, I was so satisfied. Let’s start with the noodles 🍜 They’re thick, chewy, and super bouncy — literally my favorite kind of noodle. The hand-ripped texture really comes through, and every bite had that satisfying chew I’m always looking for. This is 100% my noodle type. I’m not Chinese, but I’ve had a lot of Chinese food in LA, so this didn’t feel unfamiliar at all. I went with the default spice level, and it wasn’t overly spicy, just super flavorful with that signature tingly kick. Comforting, bold, and very easy to keep eating 🔥 I was actually hoping to try N1 (Spicy Cumin Lamb Hand-Ripped Noodles), but it was sold out 😭 super sad, but now I have a very clear reason to come back. The lamb dumplings (F4) were great too. You can really taste the lamb, which I loved. The wrappers are a bit thicker, but that feels very traditional and totally works 🥟 When things started getting rich and spicy, the cuc
